Climate Change - A Global Warming To The Idea Of Working At Home

We are all affected by Climate Change; Global Warming is now front page news and it is here to stay.

So how can we develop a win-win; have a positive impact on the World, while we increase our personal net worth?

Well, these questions have likely already assisted you in thinking a bit differently. Yes, there are many ways, you probably have a few solutions in mind already.

Now, we all know, that people, by nature, typically reject change of most any kind, we are creatures of habit, it seems so natural ...

Well it is!

What has to happen for us to change then?

Well, we have to decide to learn how to think differently; adapt to change we can control now, if we don't, we will be faced with change that we do not want to deal with later.

This discussion can quickly be tied into simple and effective ways to dramatically reduce Green House Gases, our carbon footprint, all the buzz words.

Working at home will have so many wonderful effects:

1. Less cars on the roads (obvious)
   
• reduces carbon monoxide
• reduces waste (cars, tires, oil, gas, etc)
• reduces traffic so those that have to drive spend less time adding to the problem of polluting our air.
• dramatic reduction in road rage.
  
2. We will be physically healthier
   
• Our eating will improve (less take-out)
• We will experience less stress (more sleep)
  
3. We will be mentally healthier
• reduced influence from negative work environments will improve our ability to perform.
• we will be happier
4. We will make more money
   
• more work will get done in less time = more time for us = happiness = clearer mind = better process of thoughts, etc.
• Our family life and relationships will become stronger; we will no longer be strangers to each other within our own families.
5. Our children will benefit
   
• less need for daycare (if any)
• less social problems (less cost/burden to society)
  

I am sure you would agree that this list could go on and on.

The fact is that right now we have the opportunity to make a conscious choice for positive influence in our future and I believe that Climate Change will generate a Global Warming to the idea of working at home.
